Registration is now open for the scholarships offered by the People’s Republic of China for the 2025–2026 academic year.
Under the agreement signed between the Yemeni government, represented by the Ministry of Higher Education, Scientific Research, Technical Education, and Vocational Training, and its counterpart in the People’s Republic of China, we are pleased to inform our esteemed students that they can now register via the Chinese Scholarship Council (CSC) links and the Ministry’s links provided below to apply for cultural exchange scholarships for the 2025–2026 academic year.
Applicants must ensure accuracy when entering data and use a personal email address for all future correspondence.

All students, whether applying for undergraduate (Bachelor’s) or postgraduate (Master’s/PhD) scholarships, must register via:

After completing registration on the Chinese portal, save the application form as a PDF, then proceed to the Ministry’s link below to finalize your application. The deadline is Thursday, 20/02/2025:

After registering on the Chinese portal, log in to the Ministry’s scholarship platform, select “China” from the study destination list, and enter your Chinese portal registration number. Note that modifying study preferences and destinations is possible until Wednesday, 19/02/2025. Final selection results will be published on the platform by Monday, 17/02/2025.
Chinese Government Scholarship (CGSIS) Application Guidelines
Please read the instructions carefully before applying.
1. Age Requirements
- Bachelor’s: Maximum 25 years old.
- Master’s: Maximum 35 years old.
- PhD: Maximum 40 years old.
2. Required Documents
- Completed application form from the CGSIS portal (https://www.campuschina.org/).
- Passport copy (valid until at least 01/03/2026).
- Academic certificates (certified and translated into Chinese/English).
- Language proficiency certificate (English/Chinese).
- HSK exam result (for Chinese-taught programs only).
- Study plan (minimum 800 words in Chinese/English).
- Two recommendation letters (for Master’s/PhD applicants, in Chinese/English).
- Police clearance certificate (issued within the last 6 months).

3. Registration Steps for CGSIS
- Step 1: Visit https://www.campuschina.org, click “Scholarship Application for Students,” and create an account.
- Step 2: Enter personal details under “Edit Personal Details,” verify, and save.
- Step 3: Select “Program Category: Type A”.
- Step 4: Enter Agency Number: 8861 (the agency name will auto-fill).
- Step 5: Complete all sections, upload documents, and submit. Double-check all details.
- Step 6: After submission, you may only edit your application by clicking “Withdraw” before processing.
- Step 7: Download and save the application form as a PDF.
- Step 8: Postgraduate applicants must also register on the Ministry’s portal:

4. Important Notes
- The Chinese Scholarship Council (CSC) has no agents or intermediaries. Only use the official portal: https://www.campuschina.org/.
- Applications with incorrect agency numbers will not be processed.
- If the portal does not load, try a different browser or disable “Compatibility View Mode.”
