Gudniinka fircooniga dambi miyaa sidee loo gudaa gabdhaha

A Somali girl arrived in Germany. She had undergone Pharaonic circumcision (infibulation).
This circumcision caused her significant distress. Menstruation was painful, and the flow was sometimes obstructed.
Furthermore, the skin that had been stitched together caused severe tension and pressure.
This is because, during the procedure, the clitoris and labia minora are removed, and the labia majora are stitched together, placing the skin under extreme tension. The girl suffers constant pain and misery.
As for sexual sensation—that was non-existent.
The person who performed the circumcision on her had likely stitched the area poorly.
After arriving in Germany, she fell ill with a vaginal infection. The area became severely swollen, and a white and yellow discharge was present; she even struggled to urinate.
When she was taken to the hospital and examined, she was told she needed surgery to separate the fused labia.
She consented to the procedure.
An experienced doctor performed the surgery, and it was successful.
Upon recovery, she was in good health, and menstruation no longer caused her pain.
She experienced a sensation she had never known before.
This sensation was located between the labia minora—the area where the clitoris had been removed. Before the procedure, there was tension in the skin.
That was what caused the problem.
So, the young woman improved after that.
Nowadays, most Somali girls do not undergo the severe Pharaonic circumcision.
The most common practice now is what is known as *Sunna Kabir*.
In this procedure, only the tip of the clitoris is removed; the labia minora and labia majora remain untouched.
After all, a woman’s sexual sensation resides in those labia.
If they were to be removed, she might lose that sensation.
Although one can still find women who have undergone Pharaonic circumcision—and the practice cannot be entirely stopped—
it ultimately comes down to the woman’s mindset, psychology, and physical constitution.
You might hear someone say, “I am amazed to find women who underwent Pharaonic circumcision yet are more sexually active than those who had the *Sunna* procedure!”
That is quite normal; I have seen a woman who had undergone Pharaonic circumcision yet was insatiable. That woman married many men; she could not be satisfied by just one.
So, women are not all the same.
