News from Oslo, Norway, reports that the man who attacked a Muslim mosque in Norway has been charged in court today.
The 21-year-old man, identified as Philip Manshaus, entered the Al Nour Islamic Center mosque on Saturday armed with a gun and attempted to commit a massacre, but worshippers in the mosque stopped him and took him into custody, who later handed him over to police.
Prime Minister Erna Solberg, who visited the Somali mosque in Baerum earlier in the day, said her government guarantees security in places of worship and that everyone has the right to practice their religion in safety. She also said she was sorry for the horrific attack.
