INSEPARABILITY OF PULLO-PULLAAKU AND PULLO LINGUISTIC IDENTITY IN NIGERIA
Abstract
The Pullo has a linguistic identity with which he/she is identified. Fulbe are known to be shy, reserved and trustworthy and these constitute “Pullaaku” as a behaviour perculiar to Fulbe. This behaviour (Pullaaku) is tied to the Linguistic identity of the Fulbe.
This paper takes a look at Pullaaku as a behaviour and the Linguistic Identity of the Fulbe in Nigeria.
